Hi - it's me. My name is Kat and this is my very first try to take complete strangers with me to join me on my journey as an artist.

I am way in my 40s, have 3 kids and 1 grand child. I co-own a farm while enjoying big city life on the other hand. I am working in a big company as a manager and if this wasn't enough I decided to take the risk and go out into the world to sell my paintings.

While this is pretty scary and exciting all at once I also want to take you with me. Maybe we can learn together. Maybe you can share feedback. Maybe you are just here so I can help you see what art means to me.

So, when your expectations are to get tutorials and very detailed tipps and tricks I am sorry that you will be disappointed. I will share my failures. I will share maybe funny stories and I will absolutely share my desperation and meltdowns on my road as an artist. Because believe me - paintings are seldom work out on the first try. and sometimes you start without even knowing where your art work will end eventually. But this is what makes it so good to create paintings in acrylic or oil or whatever you have available.
